Cocorose HQ were invited to the Hoopers 30th Anniversary Party at the Tunbridge Wells store, and what a store it is! The private department store has very recently been renovated, and specialises in beautiful, prestigous brands such as Lulu Guinness, Mulberry, Penhalagons' beauty products and Paul Smith to name a few, as well as carrying high street favourites such as Mango and Diesel. On arrival at Hoopers, we were greeted in style with a glass of bubbly, before sashaying our way through the menswear area, which had its main focal point for the evening as a giant bird cage... but no bird as yet! Fluttering our way through to the cosmetics and beauty department, we were greeted by shiny, happy and smiling store assistants, more than willing to help us select some of the lovely products this store has to offer.
Through to the accessories department, ie handbags!, we drooled over lovely 'Lulu Guinness' and then the real deal... 'Radley' the furry four pawed fashion accessory!
From bags, we moved on to shoes and here we spotted our very own lovely Cocorose London ballerinas on display! It was a proud moment for Team CR and we 'oohed' and 'aahhed' over our Classic Elegance Halle, Buckingham and Diffusion styles.
As if our evening couldn't get any better, we then moved onto the next best thing....chocolates!!!! This area was lovely! Ranging from chocolate pizzas to giant 'Lindor' chocolates, we were in sweet tooth heaven!
Being the special evening that it was, Hoopers had arranged for the editorial team from 'Grazia' magazine to present a capsule collection and discuss the latest trends, whilst in the foyer guests also had the chance to be the body of the burlesque queen 'Dita Von Teese!'
Due to popular demand, we sadly missed out on having our fortune told by Jane but we did get a kick out of seeing the rather surreal unicorn and blackbird that were together in the 'come to bed' display!
Last but not least the pretty bird made an appearance and gave a little performance, swinging off her a perch and looking very pretty indeed!
The whole department store is exquisite so if you're around Tunbridge Wells, do take a trip to the Hoopers store and prepare to be spoiled! Happy shopping!
