London Unfolded… #CocorosingIt in Paddington
London. As one of the world’s most vibrant and cosmopolitan cities, it’s no wonder that our capital is a source of inspiration, from technology and entrepreneurial start-ups to art, fashion and film. Drawing on our own London roots, we’ve named each of our shoes after some of our favourite areas, from Bayswater to Shoreditch and Kensington to Hampstead. Let us take you on a tour of London with the latest in our series of blog posts that will explore the different areas our city has to offer. We hope we will inspire you to pick up your Oyster card, slip on your Cocorose shoes and see what our amazing city has to offer you. #LondonUnfolded
At Cocorose HQ, we love all things that fold and unfold, and at Merchant Square, Paddington Basin, we love the architectural marvel that is Heatherwick's Rolling Bridge.

The bridge opened in 2004 as part of the Grand Union Canal office and retail development and there are plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes in the area for a spot of lunch or evening out.
When curled up, the bridge, looking more like a sculpture than a bridge, allows boats to pass through the inlet. When uncurled, the bridge allows pedestrians to cross the inlet.

The now-legendary uncurling takes place every Friday at noon. So unfold your Cocoroses and pop down to Merchant Square for a bit of spectacular art and architecture.
Happy Cocorosing!
