Did you celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee or just enjoy a leisurely and long weekend? We headed to the Natural History Museum and took in some of the spectacular sights around London 💜 I also learned that my aunty met the Queen twice (!) whilst she was working as a doctor in Westminster hospital and if you scroll down, you'll see a picture taken 70 years ago on Coronation Day.

On the day of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee last week, we posted this picture taken 70 years ago on London's Oxford Street. Gareth's father, David, was on the balcony of DH Evans on that day ... far left, waving apparently! David's mother was a buyer for the Harrods Group at the time, and as DH Evans was part of the group, they were able to get an amazing position to watch events surrounding the coronation.
THE NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM
As part of our Bank Holiday weekend, we visited this very special landmark in London's South Kensington and Elin absolutely loved seeing Dippy the dinosaur and the blue whales. Stories about Elin's adventures to the museum are being relayed to us daily, and also the question of, "are we going again tomorrow?" To be completely honest, I've only just about recovered from last week!😅
