"What an incredible journey we've had over these past years, growing from purely a concept, an idea for a foldable shoe, into a real footwear brand worn by real women all around the world."

"I remember the day when the website went live all those years ago. Social media didn't even exist back then! And when I started selling at The Backyard Market on Brick Lane in East London. I was still working my full time job Monday to Friday and so I'd do all things Cocorose, including selling at the markets, over the weekends and in all my other spare time I could muster up. When I did my first trade show, I took annual leave from work! And when I ran out of annual leave, my amazing friends covered the trade shows for me so I could continue growing Cocorose.

"I became known as a 5-9 entrepreneur, a term coined by @emmaljones of @e_nation, who have supported me and so many other small businesses over the years and who I am forever grateful. After 3 years of working full time, I was finally able to focus fully on Cocorose and the best thing was that Gareth also joined Cocorose full time.

Fast forward to today, our 12th birthday, and we're still working together (yes, still! And baby Elin will be 8 months tomorrow!) and we have the most amazing team around us, with a shared vision to empower our Cocorosers and passion to make the best shoes ever.
