Inspiration and Empowerment: My Entrepreneurial Journey and Honouring Our Voting Rights
This week, I had the honour of being part of a panel hosted by ebay x Small Business Britain, where I shared my entrepreneurial journey of how I started Cocorose as a side hustle and, as the saying goes, the rest is history. The truth is, this business has been built on passion and so much love and that has always carried us through the blood, sweat and tears. As I was reflecting and sharing, I got goosebumps - and from the room full of faces looking back at me, I could tell that they, too, were completely captivated and inspired 🤗
Of course, I wore my current favourite Hoxton trainers - the studded pastel pink leather pair and it was an absolute delight to see Michelle Ovens CBE, Founder of Small Business Britain, wearing her Hoxton Queen Bee leather trainers. Scroll down for more.
And finally, speaking of inspiration, this week marks a significant political moment for the UK, and I believe it's crucial for us, as women, to exercise our right to vote. My 5 year old daughter Elin and I have been reading about Emmeline Pankhurst - a true icon of inspiration. Strong, powerful and feminine, she was an activist who devoted her life so that we could have a better future 💗
Thank you, as ever, for your support and sending you lots of love,
Janan & Team Cocorose xx
THIS IS HOW WE COCOROSED IT
Michelle Ovens CBE, Founder of Small Business Britain and I both sporting a fabulous pair of Hoxton trainers. Mine is the pastel pink leather with studs and Michelle's is the Queen Bee. Michelle was all praise and more for the comfort and I must admit, I was kept super comfy in mine too.

DID YOU SEE?
We had some incredible press coverage that spanned the entire nation over the past week. From Cornwall to Glasgow and so, so many others in between, please do let me know if you spotted me being the poster girl and head-lining how starting a side-hustle becomes the leading route to starting a business in the UK.
VOTES FOR WOMEN
Elin and I headed to the polling station last week to cast my vote. We've been reading all about Emmeline Pankhurst so the timing couldn't have been better!💜
