Cocorose face masks on TV | Channel 4 Steph's Packed Lunch

I received a call last week asking whether we might be able to send in some of our Christmas face masks for Channel 4's show Steph's Packed Lunch. Host Steph McGovern wanted to feature festive face masks and they had come across our Cocorose masks and loved our prints, the fact that we offer both Curved and Pleated designs and the charitable work that we do with The Honeypot Children's Charity.

Naturally, I was over the moon but then came the part of waiting patiently without getting too overly excited. The thing about Press is that there is never a guarantee, so anything can change right up until the last second. I recall there's a saying that goes something along the lines of, "It's never guaranteed until it's in black and white." It's true, and over 13ish years in the game has taught me this, so there's always an element of will they, won't they ahead of any feature.

The Steph's Packed Lunch team loved our festive face masks including our cotton Deck The Halls and Christmas Poinsettia masks, Pleated Gold Silk mask and Children's Christmas Fun mask. Here, Hollie from Thrifty Mums Blog talked about why she loves our Pleated Christmas Poinsettia face mask and some of the reasons included the adjustable elastic ear loops, the pleated style, the gorgeous festive print and the clever, matching storage pouch.

TV audience tests our Christmas face mask | Very breathable and easy to wear

I believe there were members of the audience who were invited to try the masks and give their opinions and Rachel, above, said she found our masks to be very easy to wear and, crucially, breathable.

Breathability may sound like an obvious thing to say, as surely all face masks are breathable, but actually this is a very common problem. Hot, stuffy, difficult to breathe, gasping for air... these are problems resulting from masks that are made using synthetic materials, masks that aren't designed and cut to follow the natural contours of your face and masks that are just way too thick. The problem with all of this is that you end up just removing your mask to be more comfortable and to be able to get some much needed air, which completely disregards why we need to be wearing masks in the first place!

So indeed, Rachel's comment about her Cocorose mask being breathable holds a lot of weight for me.
