Sharing Our Design Process
* Written 10th June 2021 *
Hello Cocorosers 💗
How are you?
I thought it would be interesting to share with you a little bit of the design process that I go through and how this then results in our final edit for you.
My aim is to create the perfect marriage between comfort and happiness. Does it spark joy and delight? Does it make you smile? How would you feel wearing them?
I try and give myself at least six months ahead of the planned launch date to shape and edit the collection but I'll be honest and say I'm not always fortunate with this timeline! Although usually when this happens, it's because we get SO excited about a particular design, that we want to launch it sooner rather than later 😅
The use of social media has also made it far more inclusive and I often enjoy hearing what you think and if, perhaps, I've gone a step too far! 🤣 Scroll down to see a sneak peek of one of my new Hoxton trainers... and if you have a second, do let me know your thoughts!
Stay safe and sending you lots of love,
Janan & Team Cocorose xx
FLORALS FOR SPRING
Despite Miranda Priestley rolling her eyes over the obvious trend for spring in The Devil Wears Prada, one can't help but love wearing pretty florals 🌸 We have a beautiful selection available plus profits from the sale of our masks go to The Honeypot Children's Charity who, for 25 years now, have been supporting young carers between the ages of 5 to 12 years 💖
ALICE AT SHOEPHORIA!
Mariko Sasaki, First Artist of The Royal Ballet, modelled the Alice ballerinas during one of our photo shoots in Covent Garden, London. These Alice ballerinas are now on display at the Fashion Museum Bath, in their Shoephoria! exhibition.
