Following on from International Women's Day last week, it seems fitting that this Sunday will mark Mother's Day here in the UK; another chance to celebrate the incredible women in our lives who have helped to shape us into who we are today. As our community changes, perhaps our literal translation of the day should too, and the opportunity for Mother's Day to become a day for celebrating our wonderful mother figures.

This week also marks World Recycling Day. In its 6th year, the day aims to highlight how recycling is a key part of our circular economy, and helps us to protect our natural resources. Scroll down to read more about our Recycling Scheme.

Finally back in stock in all sizes, these ballet flats are loads of fun in a grown up kind of way. Initially designed in collaboration with The Royal Ballet, these were inspired by Christopher Wheelden's Alices' Adventures in Wonderland. They have been modelled by Principal Sarah Lamb, toured the world and sold in some of the most prestigious department stores and more recently, been on display in the Fashion Museum Bath.

Waste matters. Every year, we take for granted the billions of tonnes of natural resources from our Earth and one day, in the not too distant future, these resources will run out. As a global community, we need to take serious action. Reuse, reuse and recycle.

Last year, we put in place our shoe recycling scheme, whereby you can send back your pre-loved Cocorose shoes and through the First Mile charity, we would ensure your shoes would be repurposed and turned into anything but landfill. THESE TWO
I used to always take my grandmother some beautiful flowers for Mother's Day but this year, with the help of these two munchkins, we'll plant a lovely flower in remembrance of her instead. For me, creating beautiful memories are so precious and one of my biggest fears is forgetting. With every day, week, month and year that zooms by, I just want to remember, forever and ever, all these wonderful moments; the lovely, little ones just as much as the big milestones. No matter what role you play as a mother figure, may I wish you a very happy Mother's Day 💗
